Her online bio described just that!<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Before meeting Dr. Leao, I was suffering badly &#8212; including missing work because of heavy periods and debilitating cramps. This was often accompanied by dizzy spells while standing and teaching classes. It happened at night as well. I would have to get up three and four times, impacting my sleep.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I had been told by other doctors, &#8216;This too, shall pass &#8212; it will only last for a few short years.&#8217; Maybe so, but my troubles were affecting my work and my family life now. The most &#8220;nightmarish&#8221; experience came during an address to an audience of over 400 high school seniors and faculty members. I had to rush off of the stage because of a sudden overflow. Thank goodness I was wearing black slacks. That&#8217;s when I had to find a female gynecologist who could really help me.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With Dr. Leao&#8217;s treatment and care, I have not missed school since I had the uterine ablation and started a very mild hormone therapy. The hot flashes and dizziness have stopped, and I can teach my classes or present to audiences without fear of embarrassment. I can teach an entire block without having to make a trip to the restroom as well.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Thanks to Dr. Leao, my life is more predictable. I don&#8217;t have to have someone cover my class so I can run to the restroom to change products on a near hourly basis; I don&#8217;t miss work because I simply can&#8217;t make it all the way through a class because of cramps and dizziness; and I sleep better. I can travel without worry &#8212; including the anxiousness that I have about leaving home. I was always worried that I would have embarrassing accidents or would have to stop frequently during car rides.
